ŁUQ'A CH'K'EZDELGHAYI PUTTING UP FISH
1. Tahbił tanełkiz. I set the net in the water.
2. Łuq'a shegh dighilagh. A fish swam in to me.
3. Dich'anełtan. I took it out.
4. Ch'u ghest'uts', And I cut it,
5.      ch'u nunghestseq'.      and made it into strips.
6. Balik zełchin. I made balik
7. Nutin'at nutiha tsiq' tughełu. I put it in brine for two hours.
8. Yethdi chuq'eya ch'u esni eł bet'uh idghełq'en. Then I kept a fire of birch and cottonwood under it.
9. Łq'ich'idi jani yethdi nunghełu, I did that for nine days; then I took it down,
10.     ch'u nanłghal.      and I bundled it.
11. Ch'u dghaznigi yidgheshchet. And I put it in the cache.
12. Yethdi heyi niłtu. Then it's for winter.
